Dr. Featherstone attended the University of Guelph as an undergrad and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2006. She has worked in small animal practices in both the greater GTA and rural communities assembling vital skills and experience along the way.
Her adventurous spirit compelled her seek work experience abroad in Australia for a year, bringing many new learning opportunities with species uncommon to North America. She has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and regularly upgrades her education to expand her vast skill set in this area.
In her free time, Erin enjoys travelling, enjoying nature, photography and spending time with her husband, her cats - Moose and Jax - and dog, Riley.
