Our Veterinarians
Dr. Jennifer Day
Dr. Day graduated in 1994 from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. After graduation she practiced veterinary medicine in Kingston, Ontario moving to Toronto with her family in 1997. Dr. Day practiced Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and Emergency Medicine in the GTA prior to joining Cabbagetown Pet Clinic in 2007. She purchased the Hospital from Dr. Scott McClure in August, 2008. Dr. Day has enjoyed getting to know all of the wonderful patients and their owners more intimately over the past year. Dr. Day is also actively involved in the veterinary profession outside of the Hospital. Dr. Day has been on the executive of the Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine since 1997 serving as President in both 2004 and 2007. She has also served on the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors since 1997, joining the Executive in 2005 and currently serving as President. Dr. Day lives with her husband, 2 sons, a Black Labrador named Onyx and a geriatric cat named Pierrot. Outside of Veterinary Medicine Dr Day loves to go to her family cottage in the summer and downhill ski in the winter. She feels so lucky to be a part of the Cabbagetown Community and to have joined such a wonderful veterinary hospital.
Dr. Sue Bernhard
Dr. Bruce Stuart
Dr Stuart graduated OVC in 1999. Since then he has enjoyed a wide spectrum of veterinary practice. He has been practicing as a locum veterinary since 2003 which has taken him all over the province and practicing in Oxford, UK. When Dr. Stuart is not working in the practice he is enjoying life as a new father, spending time with his wife, newborn son and beloved cat Monty. Dr Stuart has been working within Cabbagetown Pet Clinic since the summer of 2009.
